The Ethel House is an ode to Ms. Ethel Hale, my Beloved Great Grandmother. Born on January 29th, 1919 in Calhoun, Alabama. My Great Grandmother was a woman strongly rooted in her faith, and belief in the Most High. Ms. Ethel Hale, was the biological mother to sixteen children, twenty three plus grandchildren, and many, many more great grandchildren. In life, Ms. Ethel was our family rock, and a pillar of strength, endurance, and faith in her community. When I think of her, I’m remembering homemade biscuits with breakfast, cornbread from scratch with dinner, and her hands playing in my hair.
Ms. Ethel provided a home to many, she prayed for you, she guided you, and somehow had a way of assuring you that Most High would always be near. Ms. Ethel became a widow three times. Each time, she persevered independently, and brought more unconditional love, and righteousness into her home.
This home is ideal for independent female seniors who have experienced the loss of a spouse, or family member. Those who have been required to downsize their homes, and women seeking an alternative option to controlled senior living environments.This home is Ideal for women who desire to be “home” as they age. 3 bedroom, 1 bath Ranch corner property, with 950 square feet of living space. Furnished common areas, modeled with 2 living spaces, an open kitchen, and carpeted floors throughout, including the basement. Enclosed backyard, includes fire pit, BBQ grill, gardening area, and patio table.
Two pets max. No Cats allowed due to allergy concerns. Current vaccinations must be presented during the application process. Your pet must be 20 lbs or under. MUST NOT be an aggressive breed.
